Embarking on his academic journey, Dr. Das achieved the milestone of completing his MBBS at the tender age of 22 from the prestigious Calcutta National Medical College. His academic prowess was evident through the acquisition of accolades and distinctions in Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Pathology. The early chapters of his professional voyage saw him as a Junior Resident (DPM Trainee) at the Institute of Psychiatry in IPGMER (SSKM hospital), Kolkata.

The narrative of his academic conquest continued with the attainment of an MD in Psychiatry from the illustrious LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur. This 336-bedded Tertiary care Psychiatry Hospital, recognized as a Center of Excellence by the Government of India, bore witness to Dr. Das's academic brilliance, marked by distinctions in his chosen field. His journey further unfolded with the completion of DNB (Psychiatry) from the esteemed National Board of Examinations, Delhi.

Not content with conventional mastery, Dr. Das delved into the realms of Sleep Medicine and Addiction Medicine. His pursuit of excellence led him to a certificate course in Addiction Medicine from NIMHANS, Bangalore, and specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the same institution. A testament to his global perspective, Dr. Das completed a certificate course in Cultural Psychiatry in Chennai under BALM-University College London.

In the realm of Sleep Medicine, he underwent rigorous training at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, one of India's premier referral centers for Sleep Medicine. His dedication and proficiency in this domain were underscored by his topping of the International Board Certification in Sleep Medicine, an accolade bestowed by the World Sleep Federation, USA.

Dr. Das's professional tapestry expanded to include his role as a Deaddiction Psychiatrist, overseeing the Chemical Dependency ward in Antara Psychiatry Centre, a venerable and esteemed mental hospital in Kolkata boasting 200 beds. His global outlook was further affirmed by the successful completion of the International Certification in Addiction Medicine, conducted by the International Society of Addiction Medicine, Canada.

Beyond the realms of clinical practice, Dr. Das's scholarly pursuits shine brightly. His foray into research began during his MBBS, where he secured the prestigious 'Short Term Studentship' from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for a project on HIV/AIDS epidemiological study. This was merely the prelude to his illustrious research career, marked by a coveted research award and an International travel Grant for his MD Thesis on Psychoneuroimmunology from the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.

His scholarly contributions extend to numerous research papers presented at both national and international conferences, totaling almost 30 publications, including several original research articles. Dr. Das's discerning expertise has also earned him the role of a reviewer for esteemed international journals in the fields of Psychiatry and allied sciences, underscoring his commitment to advancing medical knowledge. Dr. Sreetama Chatterjee is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India and Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Psychology, Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research/IPGMER, Kolkata. She has pursued her education from Calcutta University and the Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. Her clinical training has encompassed case workup, diagnostic interview, psychological assessments, follow-up assessments, delivering psychological interventions for individuals and groups across children, adults and geriatric population.
She has been working in this field since 2013 and has been involved in clinical, academic and research supervision and teaching of MPhil (Pre-doctoral/Masters) Clinical Psychology trainees through individual supervisory sessions, dyadic lectures and workshops. Apart from this, she has attended many national conferences, workshops and clinical training events in the field of Clinical Psychology.
She has also voluntarily participated in many outreach programs in the community.
She has also been involved in many mental health/ psychological research and has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented many papers at national level conferences. Her specialization is in the area of Mindfulness training, anxiety disorders and mood disorders. She also believes in following positive psychology techniques, which basically focuses more on positive mental health rather than focus only upon psychopathology. With an intention to increase awareness, she also takes interest in writing articles on the above topics, has appeared on various television shows to address mental health topics and given interviews on mental health in newspapers. She believes that our country still has a long way to go and we all need to work together to reduce stigma associated with mental health and she wants to contribute meaningfully in this regard.

She topped her state in CBSE class XII examinations and joined the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College for Women under Delhi University for graduation with Hons. in Psychology. There after, she joined the prestigious Jamia Milia Islamia University for her masters in Applied Psychology. She then enrolled in her PhD with the very relevant topic of women empowerment.
She has experience of working with patients suffering from various addiction, mood and personality disorders at Antara Psychiatric Centre, Kolkata and Iris Multispeciality Hospital. Her areas of interest include addiction medicine, mood disorders, personality issues, sleep psychology, stress related problems, family issues etc. She is experienced in stress managment, problem solving skills, anger management, relapse prevention, behavior therapy and cognitive therapy for insomnia.

She is a professional with B.A. Hons. (Psychology), M.A. (specialization in Clinical Psychology) and MPhil. in Clinical Psychology from University of Calcutta.
She has been a Former Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Department of Psychology (CUIIPP) in University of Calcutta.
She has been a Former Psychological Counsellor in NGOs like Child In Need Institute (CINI Asha urban unit), All Bengal Women's Union (ABWU) and The Sirri Saqti Foundation (TSSF).
Her skills consist of proper administration of a wide range of Psychometric Assessments for all age groups including IQ, SLD, Childhood Disorders, Personality assessment, Neurocognitive assessment etc. along with detailed psychological report generation of the same.
Her areas of interest include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Behaviour Modification, Supportive Therapy, Parent Management training and Counselling.
