There is a large proportion of patients suffering from various psychiatric disorders like mood disorders, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders, psychosis, dementia, many of whom remain untreated or inadequately treated due to various factors. Most of them suffer from a comorbid sleep disorder which is often neglected and ignored both by the patient and the treating team due to lack of awareness in the subject of sleep disorders. This results in inadequate treatment or non-responsiveness to treatment (even when high quality protocol based treatments are given by the very qualified treating team) and the patient and his/ her family continue to suffer.

 

We intend to provide appropriate support and treatment to this population by treating the comorbid sleep disorders in liaison with the treating psychiatrist/ neurologist of the patient.

 

Moreover, our team of expert psychiatrists and psychologists provide appropriate and international guideline based management of psychiatric disorders in addition to the sleep disorders to those patients who come to our centre for treatment without being referred by any other psychiatrist/ neurologist.
